Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. Ephesians 4:1-3 NLT
We live in a multi-cultural world and a diverse community. Pray that as Mariners Church we will sacrificially love the immigrant and the refugee – as image-bearers of God – giving of our abundance and advocacy to serve the needs of those whose language we may not speak and whose skin color and customs might be different than our own.

Romans 8 says that all creation “groans,” waiting for God’s ultimate restoration. The brokenness in the world can feel overwhelming; individuals, families, unwanted children, abuse. God longs to heal, creating new opportunities and the resources to move forward. Pray for our community to open their hearts to God’s love for them.
